It was then time to open a practice of my own. I picked Chico, California, as the place to call home because of many reasons – small, yet large enough to have culture, central location to Tahoe, San Francisco, Napa, etc. I bought an existing practice in January 2003.
I have continued to strive to stay well educated in all aspects of general dentistry. For example, I attended an 8 month advanced dental implant course that included classroom and hands-on training. I also maintain active membership in local, state, and national dental associations. My practice is one that is technologically advanced, but will not venture into untested products. I do not believe my patients should be the testing grounds for dental manufacturers. I like to think of all of my staff, which I call my team, and patients as my extended family. I am very happy to have a great support team that will make you feel very relaxed and comfortable in my office.
